Hemorrhoids are dilatations of the veins of the venous plexuses of the mucosa of the rectum or anus. If those affected are those of the upper plexus, they are called internal hemorrhoids, they are located above the anal canal and are covered by mucosa.
Those of the inferior venous plexus are located below the anorectal junction and are covered by external skin. The main symptoms are the appearance of scant rectal bleeding and discomfort during defecation, with mucous discharge from the rectum.
Gastritis is an inflammation of the stomach lining that can cause abdominal discomfort, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, indigestion, loss of appetite and a feeling of fullness after eating. Other common symptoms include burning or pain in the upper abdomen, bloating, belching, heartburn and dark stools. It is important to seek medical attention if you experience symptoms of gastritis, as in some cases it may require treatment to prevent more serious complications.
Appendicitis is an inflammation of the appendix, a small tube-shaped organ located on the right side of the abdomen. Symptoms include sharp abdominal pain in the lower right side, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, fever and chills. Abdominal pain usually begins in the navel area and then moves to the right side of the abdomen. If you suspect you have appendicitis, you should seek medical attention immediately, because if left untreated, the appendix can rupture and cause a serious and potentially life-threatening infection called peritonitis.
